Cobalt infused micro grain tunsten carbide for best durability and lifetime, thicker carbide so suitable for multiple resharpennings.
Carbide is brazed onto the body using a triple layer process (silver-copper-silver) to give the strongest bond.
Multi axis CNC grinding process produces a ultra sharp cutting edge geometry for best edge retention - Stays Sharper Longer.
Anti-friction coating reduces binding, friction and heat build up for cooler cuts; it also protects the bit against corrossion and accumulation of resin.
Anti-Kickback Shoulder controls depth of cut and minimises kickback.
The bearing has the same diameter as the cutter making it ideal for trimming one surface flush with an adjoining surface for plastic or wood overlays.
Trimming bits with a shear cutting angled flute require less feed pressure so cut quicker. The angled flute means there is less force on the cutting edge for less breakages plus they reduce the risk of tear-out for even cleaner cuts in wood and melamine boards.
After resharpening replace the bearing as follows. Bearing B8 ⌀ 9,5mm 4932501062 with bearing B9 ⌀ 9,3mm 4932501063. Bearing B10 ⌀ 12,7mm 4932501064 with bearing B12 ⌀ 12,5mm 4932501066.
